A New Haven freight train heads from Boston to Hartford.  Today's train has carloads from Boston & Maine and Maine Central.  Today's train carries several carloads of candy from the NECCO factory in Cambridge.  New Haven connected the manufacturing and communities of New England and the Northeast.

We see an eastbound Frisco train at Avard, Oklahoma with carloads from the Santa Fe interchange.  Today's train heads for Tulsa, where its Louisville and Nashville bound traffic will be classified to head for Memphis. Frisco played a key role in connecting the railroads of the Southeast and the Southwest. Frisco is a part of today's BNSF Railway.
